A clinicopathological study of sinonasal lesions-5 years study in a rural hospital setup

Background: Sinonasal lesions of both non-neoplastic and neoplastic variants are frequently observed by clinicians in the nasal cavity paranasal sinuses. important due to divergence their behavior prognosis. Hence, a careful histological workup remains mainstay final definitive diagnosis timely intervention. Materials methods: A prospective analysis was done on 151 patients masses who presented Department Otorhinolaryngology, MVJ Medical College Hospital, from 2014 2019. Their biodata, clinical profile, histopathological were analyzed. Results: Non-neoplastic (135 cases, 89.4%) more frequent than (16 10.59%), showed male predominance with an M: F ratio 1.7:1. Among lesions, lobular capillary hemangioma benign lesion (2 cases,50%), squamous cell carcinoma 2 (18.1%), malignant Conclusions: can present overlapping features, hence, it is categorize them into for further management.
